Please note, these notices can only be sent to one nominated email address. If there are multiple owners, the notice will be sent to the first listed owner. If you do not register, you will receive your notice in the post.

change of details

If you need to change your details, you can let us know by visiting melbourne.vic.gov.au/rates and submitting a request through our website, or by calling or emailing us.


key dates/late fees

  1. Pay in full: 15 February 2025.
  2. Pay in four instalments: 30 September 2024, 30 November 2024,
    28 February 2025, 31 May 2025.
  3. Pay in 10 instalments: payments deducted from the nominated bank account on the last day of the month from September through to May. June payment will be deducted on 26 June 2025.
Late fees apply: When paying your rates it is essential that Council receives your payment by the due dates, set in option 1 and option 2, as penalty interest will be charged for late payment.
